Well, we had another round of tests this morning and the baby still looks good but since it's so close to being 2 weeks overdue the Dr. felt like it would be good to not wait until this Thursday to be induced as previously planned and rather start the process tonight. So at 5pm I will be induced in a more natural way and will spend the night at the hospital and not come home until we have baby in our arms. It was a bit overwhelming to hear the news this morning since we weren't planning on inducing until Thursday or until I started to go into labor on my own but we've had a few hours to process so we're ready. We've actually been ready for a long time. =) We just finished packing. Tom will probably come home tonight and spend one more night at home to get a good night sleep, unless baby comes faster, and then come back tomorrow morning. We'll re-eval tomorrow morning and see if we need to do anymore induction things. Hopefully not, hopefully this will just get the natural process a kick start. =)
Thanks for praying and we are thankful for God allowing us to have time to process and prepare for the next stage on our lives. Baby Pettijohn is almost here! =)

Oh how exciting! I remember when my daughter was born, I had to be induced much the way you are, and it was very hard to sleep that night in the hospital! Hopefully you got some rest and things will go smoothly today! You will NEVER forget today! Congratulations to you and Tom and your new little one!
